Need water?

A good friend of mine forwarded this article to me, which I think is a "must read" for everyone.  It's simply wisdom to take simple steps.

Great muffin recipe - incorporate Thrive fruits and other ingredients!

Here is a GREAT recipe in which you can incorporate Thrive fruits, like blueberries!
Breakfast Muffin #3 . . . . Oat-ffins
A blend of baked oatmeal, muffin and the ‘kitchen sink’ –
Typically I don’t do recipes with a lot of bananas (too much sugar) or just oats. So, I added nuts, an egg and protein shake to ncrease the protein. Then, I added the ‘kitchen sink’.

5 cups rolled oats (not instant or quick)
¼ cup Xylitol (or other granular sweetener)
6 TBL protein shake (I used ViSalus)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking powder (Thrive)

2 2/3 cups water
2 1/2 cups ripe mashed banana (or Thrive bananas, blueberries or any other Thrive fruit)
(I used frozen, thawed, drained, mashed then measuerd)
¼ c. coconut oil, melted
1 egg (Thrive)
1 TBL vanilla

Mix dry ingredients. Mix the wet ingredients. Combine.
Add mix-ins: (the ‘kitchen sink”) chopped nuts, chocolate chips, dried fruit (I used Thrive dried blueberries), coconut, and ground flaxseed (any other seeds).
Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes
Makes 30 Oat-ffins. Freezes well.

COOOOOOLLLLLLDDDDDDD weather!

I live in the Midwest, and we've just been slammed with both snow and sub-freezing temperatures.   In the past, I would run out to the store in advance of the storm to buy food and water.  Now, I rest easily, don't spend more money, and stay home in the warmth because I already HAVE my "emergency" food.

Thrive Life is an amazing company, producing freeze-dried food, most of which is NON-GMO, some of which is certified organic and a great deal of which is gluten free!  The products are picked at the peak of ripeness, flash freeze-dried to remove 98% of the water, thus locking in all the nutrients and flavor.  A sealed can lasts up to 25 years, and an opened can lasts anywhere from 6-18 months, depending on the product.

So, instead of rushing out to the store to buy milk, I pull the can of Thrive instant milk off my shelf and whip up some fabulous tasting milk!  In addition, as I am nursing my sick husband, I have my Thrive chopped chicken, onions, celery, carrots, and potato dices simmering on the stove...yup, I didn't have to rush out to the store to buy any of those things either!

Please, check it out for yourself RIGHT HERE so that whatever emergency comes your way, you are prepared, peaceful and able to spend time with your family rather than rush out to the store!
