Aqua Pail

Product Details
This is one of the COOLEST inventions ever!  This is the Aqua Pail 400, which filters 400 gallons of water and is the size of a pail you might take to the beach to play in the sand.  Mine just came today in the mail.  One unique thing about this pail is that you can filter just about any kind of water through it....even sewer water....and you will have fresh water emerge, ready to drink.  Another bonus is that unlike other filters, you can use this one and then set it on the shelf for a year or more, and then use it again and it works perfectly.

So, you need to get yours today right HERE.

East Coast Hurricane Disaster and Thrive

I watched with great concern and sadness this morning as news channels reported on the damage caused by Hurricane Sandy on the east coast.

First and foremost, my prayers are with those who have lost loved ones as well as possessions.  I pray the body of Christ comes around everyone in need like never before.

It is said that people could be without power for 7-10 days.  Indeed, this is a crisis situation.  No power means no electricity, which means refrigerators and freezers will need to stay closed for a few days in order to preserve any food people may have had in them.  Freezers can keep things cold for about 3 days...then a person needs to start eating what is in them.  It's for situations just like this that Shelf Reliance and Thrive Foods has come on the scene.  An ounce of preparation can reduce stress and provide food and sustenance for days!

Now, let's imagine:  what if the millions of people out of power on the east coast had, during the calm time, taken the time to order enough freeze-dried food for their families to cover them for a month?  What if those people had gotten some water bricks from Shelf Reliance and stacked them in closets months ago? What if those people had gotten hand crank flashlights and other emergency items? Here's what the result would have been:  they would have food and water on hand that would be healthy, easy, and they would have one less stressor in their lives.  They could easily provide for their families for these next days and weeks while focusing on other things like cleaning up.

My prayer in all of this is that we would ALL learn from this so-called Frankenstorm and take time NOW to prepare.  Follow this CRUCIAL LINK TO MY WEBSITE and get started TODAY on your preparations for times like these.

How easy and fun it is to cook with Thrive!

I have a cool, new friend who is loving using Thrive freeze-dried foods.  Not only have they cut down on going out to eat, but also they are enjoying cooking again!  Here is an excerpt from a recent communication:

I mixed up the Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup (yummy) for supper and added some broccoli.carrots, corn and green beans (broken up). We got 3 LARGE servings.

I wasn't sure how much water to add to my couple handfuls of dry veggies. If you've got any rule of thumb on that, I'd like to know proportions of water to freeze dried veggies.

I can see that I'll be playing around with the packages until I go out on my own more. The pasta sauce came out fine, but I had to add honey to tone down our tomato powder. I put quite a bit of powder :-) I found that it would take a whole lot of powder to get it like tomato paste from the store :-) (giggle) I also put veggies in the sauce.

This is so much fun!! It's been years since I've enjoyed cooking.

How encouraging to know that we are bringing delight to people's lives through healthy, non-GMO foods!

Fun Expo Weekend

One of the ways consultants with Thrive can grow their businesses is to participate in expos.  I was blessed to be able to travel to an expo in another state and partner with other Shelf Reliance consultants at a large expo.  It was exciting to talk to people, see how few had actually heard of Shelf Reliance and then let them taste some of the fruits and veggies.  Nearly everyone had that surprised expression on their face when they tasted the food....yes, it's THAT good!  Plus when people saw the emergency supplies available, well, it was simply a no-brainer!  Let's get started!

If you want to see the blessing that Thrive foods can be to you and yours, then check out MY THRIVE WEBSITE , sign up as a customer, and start shopping.  Or contact me for more information.

Let's start helping each other develop thriving lives!

Hurricane Isaac

As we all know, Hurricane Isaac hit the Gulf Coast in the U.S. 7 years to the day after Hurricane Katrina hit.  Homes have been devastated, livelihoods lost again, and people are in need.

What does this have to do with Shelf Reliance and Thrive?  For those whose homes were not destroyed but who may not have power, having freeze-dried food on hand would not only sustain them for days if not weeks, but also could be a blessing to those in need.  Someone can either eat the fruits and veggies in their freeze-dried state, or with just a little water, they are rehydrated and tasty and nutritious.

Instead of feeding yourself and your kids unhealthy fast food, why not have Thrive foods on hand for everyday use as well as in times of crisis and emergency?

Visit my website HERE to find out just how easy it is to get started on your home storage.

The Thrive Planner

As I have passed the one-year mark of being an independent consultant with Shelf Reliance, I am increasingly excited about talking to people who see the need to begin planning for the future.  Why?

Some of the most obvious answers are:

1.  "I'm planning because the economy does not look good, and who knows what food prices will be like in a year."

2.  "I'm planning because of this year's drought and the inevitable price spikes we will see in the coming year from food to fuel to every other product."

3.  "I've been meaning to plan for years, but only now found an easy, stress-free way to plan...thank you, Shelf Reliance for your planner which takes all the guess-work out of everything!"

4.  "For me, I love the food and the convenience of Thrive...I want it available to me and my family every day, and so the planner helps keep me on track to store what we are already eating and eat what we store."

The Thrive Planner is extremely easy:  CLICK HERE and follow the simple instructions to set up your planner for you and your family.  It's easy, affordable as you are re-allocating money from your present food budget toward Thrive, and nutritious and delicious.  Contact me through that site above if you have any questions!

Thrive Express...the perfect backpacking food

As we hiked up the side of a mountain in Wyoming, I thought, "Wow, for the 40 days courses that this group does, Thrive Express would be a GREAT food for them to carry!"

Thrive Express is easy to make (you need boiling water), fast (max 15 min), highly nutritious, non-GMO, and has a 10 year shelf life.  Not only are the packages lightweight because the food is freeze-dried, but also super tasty!

Here is the link for THRIVE EXPRESS so be sure to check it out for yourself, even if you don't plan to go into the wilderness.

Home from Vacation

When you arrive home from being away on vacation or just being away, what is one of the first things you must do?

GO TO THE GROCERY STORE!

If you are like me, you might respond to that reality with "Ugh!"

My hubby and I arrived home from being away for a week, and I have not yet had to go to the grocery store after two days of being home!  Why?  We have THRIVE EXPRESS in the cupboard, which are freeze-dried, healthy meals, and we have Thrive fruits and veggies which rehydrate in a couple of minutes and are ready to be used in any recipe!  In addition, we have Thrive instant milk, which I whipped up in 2 minutes so that we had fresh milk for cereal the morning after arriving home.

I have completely removed the stress of having to rush to the grocery store after returning home from vacation by having Thrive on our shelves.  Today, I will head to the store, but it's not a "rushed" feeling, and I will be wise about what I'm purchasing rather than having the feeling that I need to get food in the house!

If you want to simplify your life, ease your post-vacation stress levels when it comes to feeding your family, and be HEALTHY, contact me and/or check out my WEBSITE here.

Thrive is just plain EASY!

A friend of mine nearly cried when I introduced her to Thrive Express.  She has a son who is starting middle school this year and will be arriving home after school before she gets home from work.  Now, instead of eating junk food like chips or cookies, he will boil some water in a pan and throw in an envelope of Thrive Express, and VOILA, healthy, non-GMO, great tasting food in 10 minutes!

Imagine this too:  you have 3 kids all going in different directions to soccer, volleyball, choir practice, etc.  It's 5:00 and everyone has to be somewhere by 6:00.  What is normal default?  Typically it would be run through the drive-thru and grab something quick.  Not only is that EXPENSIVE, but also extremely unhealthy.  For MUCH less cost, and for much healthier food, why not boil 3 pots of water on the stove, open 3 different Thrive express packets and serve an entire meal, on the table by 5:15 p.m?

To me and many others out there, this EASY solution is becoming the HEALTHY solution as well to many similar situations.  Check out THIS LINK HERE to see all the different Thrive Express options.

SPECIAL NOTE:  DURING THE MONTH OF JULY, THE THRIVE EXPRESS VARIETY PACK IS ON SALE AT A GREAT PRICE!  YOU MAY JUST WANT TO STOCK UP FOR THE FALL!

Why prepare? Where is your trust?

I've had some people question me and my involvement with Shelf Reliance and Thrive Foods.  Their questions are somewhere along the lines of:

"Don't you trust the Lord to provide for you?"
and
"I'm believing God to give me what I need."
and the best ever:
"Well, the government will come through for us."

Let me answer all of these starting with the last one first:

The government...well, maybe you don't know this but our government has been stockpiling long-term storage food for YEARS now, but of course it's not widely publicized.  Rumor has it it's for the people...other rumors have it that it's for those in the highest offices of government when everything collapses.  Why would the government be doing this if they didn't know that something has got to give and will be giving soon?  I'm not so sure those stockpiles will be seeing the light of day for the average American.

Question #2:  I too have a great faith in God and He will give what we need.  He's also given me what I need now, including the gift of discernment about the times in which we are living. Each of us must ask Him:  How then shall we live?

Question #1:  I completely trust the Lord to provide for me.  He's provided in the past, and He's blessed me.  I am amply supplied by His hand alone and will be in the future as well.  This isn't about me or my family.  This is all about those whom we are called to love and serve and care for if and when various situations unfold where being the hands and feet of Jesus will come into play in ways we've never experienced before.  So, I trust that Lord is leading me and providing for me today and for us so that we can be a blessing to others.

I love seeing people catch a vision that is beyond themselves and their worlds...to help others live thriving lives, and this is one small way to do it!  Check out MY WEBSITE HERE and get started today!

Emergency food and supplies

After having endured the latest storm and power outages, many of you are probably thinking "I need to do more to be prepared for these unexpected emergencies, but where do I start?" It can be an overwhelming task...I know...been there, done that. That's why THIS is something you want to take 15 minutes of your day to peruse. My motto is:  "Stress-free preparedness".  My website is listed below. Have a look and then contact me to get started either as a customer, or even as a consultant and bring in extra income.

I encourage you to join my team with Shelf Reliance and Thrive Foods, a young and quickly growing network marketing company that specializes in freeze-dried and dehydrated foods and emergency supplies. This is not your ordinary long-term shelf life food company or product because the food is non-GMO, preservative free, highly nutritious and VERY delicious, and has a 25 year unopened shelf-life. In addition, we have a GLUTEN FREE line of products that is growing! In the last year, the company has grown 500% but with only about 6000 consultants, it is the best time to get in as a consultant with a company and product whose time has come! In times of crisis--loss of job, reduction in income, a plethora of out of town guests, natural disaster or other emergency situations--what people's first concern is is food and water. You can be that avenue for them to get prepared for those unexpected times.  Plus, using the food every day will save you money and time.

Visit my website here: www.shelfreliance.com/ArdenCz3 and contact me for more information.

Smoothies with Thrive

I have a morning routine when I am home.  Included in that routine is making a fruit smoothie with garden greens included.  This morning, we had no fresh fruit in the house, so I cracked open a can of pineapple chunks (expiration date was fast approaching as is true with most canned goods...all the more reason to get Thrive), added craisins, then pulled out the frozen blueberries, stuffed the blender full of kale and red chard, and then added Thrive blackberries.  What an anti-oxidant calcium rich smoothie!  I could have added Thrive pears, mangoes, peaches, raspberries, strawberries, apples, pineapple, and other Thrive fruits, but stuck with the blackberries this morning.

Be sure to check out this WEBSITE this month as there are AMAZING specials...probably the best we've had so far!  It's time to Thrive.

Gluten Free Products

It seems more and more that people either need to eat gluten free products, or some WANT to eat gluten free products.

Thrive Foods has a gluten free line of products which you can check out at this link:

Gluten Free Grains

You will note at that link that there is a "Gluten Free" label at the top of the products that are gluten free.  One of the founders of Shelf Reliance and Thrive Foods is married to a woman who must eat gluten free foods, so you can be assured that these are certified gluten free.  Plus, I got to tour the facilities and actually saw the gluten free production area (from a healthy distance), and indeed, the FDA guidelines have given their stamp of approval to Shelf Reliance and Thrive Foods on their gluten free product-line.

Yummy Recipe with Thrive ingredients included

Our vegetable garden is THRIVING!  One particular blessing we are reaping is zucchinis, so today, I decided to cook up a couple of recipes using some of the plethora of zucchinis we've harvested so far.  Upon opening the wonderful recipe book my aunt gave me years ago, I found a zucchini and carrot cookie recipe.  As is typical with me, I didn't have all the ingredients, namely the carrots, so I decided to substitute chocolate chips in 1/2 proportion to the zucchini.  Let's just say YUMMY!  If I can keep my hands and mouth off the cookies til my hubby gets home to try them, a miracle will have occurred.

So, why am I writing about this on a THRIVE blog?  Because I was able to AVOID running out to the store to get butter, eggs and sugar and used my Thrive powdered butter (reconstituted with a bit of water), my Thrive egg powder (again, reconstituted with water), and Thrive sugar.  Here is the VERY EASY recipe for you to try yourself:

ZUCCHINI & CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup reconstituted Thrive butter
3/4 cup Thrive sugar
1 reconstituted Thrive egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup shredded raw zucchini, drained
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Mix dry ingredients minus sugar together.  In large bowl, cream butter and sugar to fluffy.  Beat in egg and vanilla.  Beat in dry ingredients, then zucchini and chocolate chips.  Add nuts if desired.  Drop on greased sheets and bake at 350 degrees F. for about 20 minutes.  Frost if desired with powdered sugar glaze.

For your convenience, here are the links to the Thrive ingredients I used in this recipe:

Thrive Egg Powder:

Thrive Sugar

Thrive Butter Powder

And for anyone wondering, YES, these are REAL eggs and REAL butter!

And just in case you need any more convincing, here is a picture of the plate of cookies...minus the two that I ate already!

Be sure to visit my website which is linked here on the right hand column at the top and see what other wonderful foods you might want to try from Thrive!

Do you eat food?

You may laugh reading this blog post, but I'm serious.  Do you eat food?

Here's my follow-up question:  How much food do you throw out in a month because it has gone bad in your fridge or expired on the shelf?

If you are an average American, you throw out 25% every year!  If that doesn't make you sit up and read further, maybe being more specific will...it did me:

Monthly food budget:  $400
Average amount tossed out:  $100

LOSS:  $100/month X 12 = $1200/year!

So, essentially, the average American household is flushing $1200 down the drain or tossing it in the garbage, and quite needlessly. If you simply redirected that amount of money toward THRIVE FOODS....LINK HERE then you would be doing 3 things:

1.  Saving money on your food budget.
2.  Eating healthy, non-GMO foods.
3.  Saving time because of not running to the store so often.

Click on the link above or right here:  http://www.shelfreliance.com/ArdenCz3 and get started today!

Oh, plus, there's the added bonus that you could become a consultant yourself and earn income.  Can you say it's a win-win situation?

Why am I blogging about this on my personal blog?  Because I believe it in so strongly, and I am hoping to start my friends and blog readers on a path to healthier living and eating!  Eventually, I'll have a THRIVE blog, but for now, click, browse the site, contact me, or just go ahead and place an order.  My initial suggestions for those who may be skeptical are to order the following:

1.  Pantry size can of instant milk.  (Run a blind taste test with your family and see if they can tell the difference)
2.  Pantry size can of whole egg powder.  (No more running to the store to get eggs for that recipe)

Introduction to A Thriving Kingdom

My name is Arden Czaszewicz, and I am very excited to be starting this new blog for all those blog readers out there who love to eat healthy foods, and who want to be wise about living, saving money, and having a well-prepared home.

As an introduction, I will tell you how I got involved with Shelf Reliance and Thrive Foods.  I love to eat healthy, non-GMO foods, I dislike shopping, and I found that foods in the stores were becoming increasingly tasteless and full of hormones and God only knows whatever else they put in foods these days.  In addition, I wanted to be a blessing to those around me if they were/are ever in need, and be a blessing to my own family if we ever hit bumps in the road either financially or otherwise.  Everyone needs food, water and shelter, and when I was introduced to Shelf Reliance, I was sold immediately.  This is a company whose time has come and a product I so strongly believe in that I don't even need to "sell" it; once people taste the food, read about the nutritional quality of it, and see that their picky children are gobbling it up, and they are no longer throwing out old food from the refrigerator, it sells itself.

Quite honestly, I am not a salesperson.  I got in this business to get good, healthy food for me and my husband to eat on a daily basis and have some long-term storage as well, and to get some emergency products for our home for those power outages, etc.  The residual income from the business side of it is nice, and it's up to me what I want to make of it.

That's enough background on me and how I got involved...if you want to know more, please feel free to contact me!  So, why am I blogging about it?  Because I want others to eat healthier foods, have the opportunity to save money, and if they so choose, make money by being an independent consultant.  I plan to blog about ways I've used the products, post recipes, let you all know about specials on products, and give you a LINK to my website where you can spend as much time as you want perusing products and making your own purchases on YOUR budget, YOUR time, with YOUR families' needs in mind.  So, stay tuned here for blog posts that will be helpful to you, I hope, and let's begin building our Thriving lives together!
